#HP 2025 PRINTER INSUFFICIENT MEMORY ERROR DRIVER#
If the problem still occurs with the new cable and port, then we can certainly focus on either the driver (which I don't think is the problem) or the printer itself. Click File and select Cancel All Documents. This shows a list of print jobs that are in the queue. Under Printers, right-click your default printer and select See What’s Printing. My reasoning is that I want to eliminate the possibilities of either a cable or port malfunction. Step 1: Let’s clear the print queue: Press Windows+X keys and select Control Panel.
Connect it from your printer to a different USB port on your computer. Please do the following: Find or buy a new USB cable, one that has a ferrite core (as shown in the photo below). My gut feeling (based on experience) says that you probably have a faulty or failing RAM issue in your printer, but let's try one other thing before that becomes a conclusion. Step 2 Press and hold 'Select' while the screen shows that the printer is performing a memory test. So obviously the problem doesn't lie with a splitter issue - thanks for that information. Step 1 Press 'Power' to turn off the printer, then press it again to turn the printer back on. Let's try the first two things I recommended above to see what happens and then go from there. It's difficult to say exactly - the document could be too complex (doubtful, since you say it's the same document you've been printing for the past 3 years), could be a driver issue, could be a power or cable issue. Try printing again and tell me what happens. Second, when you said you are using a hub, do you mean that you have the printer connected to a USB hub that's connected then to your computer? If so, let's remove that for a test and make sure your printer is connected directly to a USB port on your computer. Let it sit unpowered for about 5 minutes. Has anything in the documents themselves changed? Also, what format are the document and what program are you printing from? Let's try a couple of things to see what happens: First, turn off the printer and unplug it from the power outlet.
Hi Bill: That is weird that documents you've printed successfully in the past are suddenly refusing to work.
